Blood of the Moon Belly Beads
A limited edition release of belly beads/body beads created in collaboration with artisan Katherine Rebecca. Made with precious and semi-precious stones and crystals, vintage pearls and finished with a solid silver barrel clasp, this adornment is emblematic of our internal tides, the centre of our creative force - our womb space, and our inextricable connection to the broader cycles of our earth.
Strong and waterproof, designed to be worn anytime or all the time, to move with your body and cycles. While the overall design is exclusive to this community, each piece is unique. Examples of bead materials include jasper, ruby, garnet, sunstone, moonstone, agate, goldstone and of course mother of pearl.
Size selection / to measure
Katherine recommends taking a piece of string and tying it around yourself where you ideally want the beads to sit, whether that be around the neck or belly. Be sure to move around to make sure its a good fit, then measure that piece of string to guide you in your size selection.
For belly beads, measuring around the belly button plus a cm or so is a good option. Belly beads move and rise and fall with your breath, bodily position and changes, and cycle.
